My favorite photo spots in the city are the infamous Park Güell, La Sagrada Familia, and Montjuic Hill (where you can even ride a cable car to get to the top- highly recommend).
Other noteworthy mentions include La Sagrada Familia, La Boqueria, and Casa Batllo.

Viewpoints
Montjuïc
Montjuïc Hill is one of the best viewpoints in the entire city of Barcelona.
There are tons of different places to catch the best views from as well. It’s one of my favorite options on a 4-day Barcelona itinerary or even if you only have 24 hours in Barcelona.
Bonus: The “Magic Fountain” is also located here. If you have the time, visit on a night where they are featuring a free musical light show at the fountain.
Olympic Swimming Pools
There are two Olympic swimming pools located in Montjuïc, Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc and Piscina Picornell. They offer some of the best views in Barcelona as well, plus they’re free!
You can get to both of these pools from the Montjuïc cable car or public transportation, or a long walk (more like a hike!) route.
The Piscina Municipal can be directly accessed by taking the bus to the “Parc de Montjuïc” stop, whereas the Picornell pools are closest to the “Espanya” metro station.
The unique vantage point from these pools offers a rare perspective of Barcelona’s urban landscape, blending the vibrancy of city life with the tranquility of water.
Bunkers Del Carmel
Bunkers Del Carmel is one of the most famous viewpoints in Barcelona. I didn’t have time to make it here during my 3 days in Barcelona, but it is at the top of many lists for good reason!
The bunkers were originally built as anti-aircraft fortifications during the Spanish Civil War, but now they offer panoramic views of the entire city. I’ve heard it’s especially beautiful at sunset or sunrise.
Parks
Park Güell
Park Güell provides one of the most iconic photo opportunities in all of Barcelona.
The overview of Barcelona from its colorful, mosaic-tiled benches is simply one of the best Instagram spots in the city.
This is one of the first photos that pops up for viewers searching for Barcelona!
General admission entrance tickets to the park cost 10 euros. I recommend arriving early to beat the crowds (as much as possible!)
Arc de Triomf
Arc de Triomf marks the entrance into La Ciutadella Park. This is one of the biggest green spaces in all of Barcelona.
There are lots of festivities for photo opportunities right in front of the arches, like people blowing bubbles and more.
Bonus: La Ciutadella Par also features the Cascada Monumental Fountain, one of its best features. People love taking photographs of the fountain!
