Did you know you can find the oldest house in the US in Alexandria, DC?  I get way too excited about random facts like this.

The Spite House was built in 1830 by John Hollensbury to stop loiterers in the alley beside his home.

The house is just 7 feet wide and 325 square feet in total.

Its charming and unusual appearance makes it a popular spot for photographs.

Tip: Be mindful that this is private property and locals live on this street.  Please be respectful.

These establishments are located in preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings, offering an authentic glimpse into the past with period-style decor and architecture.
